Our Purpose

Nova pronounced (nō·va rāy), is inspired by the latin phrase for “new reality”.

Nova Rē Health is a company started by and for people and families impacted by Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, and Sensory Sensitivity.   In thinking about a name for the company we wanted to identify the changes in our world through our own experiences. A common theme kept coming up.  Our new reality, our new normal. Nova Rē.

We learned about the impact of this new reality in our daily life. What we found was that our family members with ASD and ADHD had chronic issues with gastrointestinal health, nutrition, emotions, behavior, and immunity.  These health issues were not minor and had a big impact on daily life, yet they were often health needs that went unmet.

Integrative Medicine

Integrative medicine, the idea that health solutions can come from multiple health disciplines, is an important concept to explore.  Medical doctors, counselors, therapists, chiropractors, nutritionists, and naturopaths are all trained in different aspects of healthcare. Integrative medicine promotes the idea that one can seek care from multiple fields in health.

Before Nova Rē, our team had very little previous exposure to the idea of gut health as a component of our families’ healthcare. In fact, working with healthcare professionals of several different disciplines both professionally and personally we found prescription pharmaceuticals, counseling, and therapies were the treatment options suggested.  Digestive enzymes and gut health were not discussed as part of the treatment protocol. Prescription medicines, counseling, and therapies can be valuable and a necessary part of a healthcare treatment protocol. But after utilizing all of those options, our loved ones still had health needs that were not being met.

The quest for something more led to the introduction of nutrition as medicine.  Scientific research suggested that digestive enzymes, probiotics, calming neurotransmitters, and nutrient supplementation could lead to improvement in these chronic health symptoms.  After experiencing success in our own families we were thankful but also overwhelmed by the knowledge that these treatment options had not been presented before.

Moving Our Health Forward

Nova Rē was founded by healthcare providers experiencing both personally and professionally the impact of chronic unmet health needs in ASD, ADHD, and Neurodiverse communities. After utilizing nutrient support and finding symptom improvement in our own families,  we recognized the need for additional options in health for our shared communities.

We utilized, up to date, science backed research to design our Nova Rē supplement line.  We focused on health needs specific to the ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and Neurodiverse communities. Equally important, we curated a line of supplements that are pure, potent, and bioavailable.  Nova Rē supplements are nutraceutical grade, GMP certified, and every batch made is third party tested. We wanted nothing less for our own families and our communities.

Finding something to help the day go better for someone you love is an ongoing quest.  And when you find something that works - it is incredible! Having one more tool means everything.

There will never be just one answer that is right for every individual.  Through our own experiences we know not every medicine, treatment, therapy or supplement will work for every person.  At Nova Rē we operate on the belief that we are all uniquely human but that our communities share some common health concerns.  We would like the opportunity to offer one more layer of care.
